Purchase and rental terms

1. General

These purchase and rental terms and conditions apply to purchases and rentals made through Event point Oy (Tapaktumapiste). By placing an order in our online store or accepting an offer, you accept these terms and conditions.

2. Ordering products and services

  1. Order confirmation: After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email, which contains information about the ordered products and services.
  2. Age limit: The subscriber to rental equipment and DJ services must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. Requests for quotations: The customer can send a request for quotation via the website or directly by email. The company will prepare a quotation according to the customer's wishes and send it for approval in the form of a quotation.

3. Payment methods and terms

  1. Purchases made through the website: We accept most common payment methods, such as credit cards, online banking and PayPal . Payment is made at the time of order.
  2. Orders placed via a request for quotation: Payments are made by invoice, which the customer receives after accepting the quotation and signing the rental agreement. The invoice must be paid 7 days before the start of the rental period.

4. Delivery, transport and collection terms

  1. Delivery: Rental products can be delivered directly to the address provided by the customer or they can be picked up from an agreed pickup location.
  2. Transportation: The company offers transportation services at an agreed price. The transportation fee is determined by the delivery location and the extent of the transportation.
  3. Shipping costs: Shipping and transportation costs will be added to the total order amount.
  4. Delivery time: Delivery time is agreed upon when ordering. The company is not responsible for delays caused by third parties.

5. Rental terms and conditions

  1. Rental period: The rental period begins when the customer receives the products and ends when the products have been returned to the agreed location.
  2. Return: Rental products must be returned within the agreed time and in the same condition as when received. The customer is responsible for any damage or loss of products.

6. Installation services

  1. Installation service reservation: Installation service must be reserved when ordering.
  2. Installation: Installation will be performed at the agreed time and location. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation location is clear and ready for installation.
  3. Installation Cancellation: Cancellations for installation services must be notified at least 14 days before the agreed installation time. Cancellations made later will be charged 50% of the installation service price.

7. DJ services

  1. Service booking: Reservations for DJ services must be made at least 30 days before the event date.
  2. Cancellations: Cancellations for DJ services must be made at least 30 days prior to the event. Cancellations made later will be charged 50% of the service price.

8. Cancellations and refunds

  1. Purchases: Consumer customers have the right to cancel their purchased products within 14 days of receiving the product (distance sales).
  2. Rentals: Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the start of the rental period. Cancellations made later will be charged 50% of the rental price.

9. Liability and damages

  1. Company liability: The Company is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the customer's event, with the exception of cases where the damage has been caused by the Company's gross negligence.
  2. Customer responsibility: The customer is responsible for the careful handling and return of the rented products in the agreed condition. The customer is responsible for all damages caused by incorrect use of the products.

10. Processing of personal data

11. Other terms and conditions

  1. Changes to Terms: The company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. The current terms and conditions are always visible in our online store.
  2. Applicable law and dispute resolution: These terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiations, but if necessary, disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts.
